We had the privilege of attending a 4 day festival in the city of Lens, France alongside a group of international artists.  The local council initiative to bring vitality & colour to their town was an effort to battle some of the issues that result from the closure of large mine companies resulting in a 70% unemployment rate in the area.

Understanding the impact of art & the effects it has on humans they prepared large canvases under bridges and on public walls & gave the artists involved the opportun...

Birds & foxes, definitely not a harmonious pair at times but for the upcoming release of the Swedish electronic dance music production, songwriting and DJ duo Galantis somehow it was the perfect fit!

Seafox is a character created within the storyline of their albums & songs.  Approached by Atlantic Records & the team at StreetArtGlobe to create our own unique spin on the image we came up with our TuiSeaFox and worked in our graphic Māori design concepts to represent their country & ours (our 2 places)...

Opening Thursday 22 June at Fresh Gallery Otara, 'Huia Come Home' is our first exhibition together in 11 years.  Our journey over the past decade has taken us deeper into the journey of finding who we are emotionally, spiritually & culturally & this body of work is our response to that inner homelessness.

Part of the Tāmaki Matariki Festival 2017, our show invites the viewer into encounters of the heart & the mind.  Our friends Mike Tupaea, Jay Lucas & Olivia Laita all contribute their creative gi...

28 March - 15 June, Tauranga, New Zealand

With only a few weeks left to visit we look back at what has been a ground breaking project from the Oi You crew.  George & Shannon Shaw have worked tirelessly alongside the Tauranga Art Gallery, Tauranga City Council & all of their sponsors to present to Aotearoa a world class exhibition.

Bringing together three New Zealand artists & a range of international artists to compliment the work, the show incorporates a large exhibition of original Banksy works t...

We had a great afternoon down in Ngaruawahia last week.  We've been so busy working on our Auckland Museum project that we are a little behind with our blog posts but hey we don't even know if anyone actually reads them so oh well.

Anyway, back to what we were saying - Ngaruawahia was awesome.  The skateboarding legend Eddie Elguera was a guest judge for the local skate comps & together with the Village team, we all worked together to provide a fun, safe & inspiring little event to bring back so...

How many festivals can you do in 6 days you say without going slightly crazy?  Well 3 festivals later & a slight bit of craziness we have survived & made it out the other end.  It has been busy, hot, fun, hot, messy, hot & did we mention hot - not that we are complaining because winter will arrive again & we will be reminiscing about the good old days of summer!

We were in Hamilton for Festival One Thurs 28th Jan - Sun 31st Jan, back up to Auckland for the Tāmakai Herenga W...

While down at the Mount attending the Street Prints Mauao festival we managed to fit in a day trip to a funeral an hour up from Gisborne & 2 private commission walls in between our large 2 story wall 'Rise of the guardians'.  It was a busy time but we had the privilege of painting 'Sunshine Paradise' in Papamoa Beach & we loved the image so much we reproduced it as a fine art print with Artrite Screenprinting.

The image is an internal wall painted in spray paint, it has then been photographed an...

If you didn't see it all over your television screen, the Block NZ kitchen reveal was probably one of the most controversial episodes of the shows history so far.  A total flop or an absoltute genius moment, we were approached by Hayden & Jamie to paint 'Be Bold' in a graffiti style for their kitchen splashback & it stirred the interior design hornets nest to say it nicely haha.

Everyones' opinion will differ, the world will never agree on wether this was a good or bad idea - what we l...
